Overview

New York based M produces three essential art publications that seamlessly integrate art listings, art maps and art reviews across the print and web media. These are: the M magazine, the M art maps, and the easy-to-remember M website intheArtworld.com.

In print, M is the largest publisher of art maps and listings guides serving the art world in NewYork. As such, we achieve an economy of scale that offers our member galleries, who list with us in print, the lowest price and largest distribution, with unrivaled quality production and design. Art collectors use the M art map as a short-list guide to find quality, must-see galleries. During a year membership, over a quarter million copies are distributed to art galleries and museums, prestigious hotels and major international art fairs in NewYork and around the globe.

The perfect-bound printed quarterly M magazine is highly regarded among art world insiders for its clean design and in-depth writing, which includes essay reviews, interviews and reportage. The magazine is presented at our publications booths at major international art fairs, and copies are mailed to our subscribers, which include art collectors, museum directors and art critics.

On the web, M offers a free listings service that works smoothly from all platforms, iPad, iPhone, Mac, PC and Android, without requiring an App to download; it automatically adapts to mobile and desktop. The site also features an art focussed classifieds section, where readers can search (and post) in a secure environment jobs in the arts, art services and social meetings.

After becoming a member, you can list your gallery for free on intheArtworld.com. You can also list your gallery in print for a nominal annual membership fee. M is the largest publisher of art listing maps in New York, printing over a quarter million copies throughout the year that are distributed to all of New York's major art districts. General Conditions

 

Terms:

Payment in full is required five business days after closing date. Payment is by check (U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank) or bank transfer. We also accept all major credit cards.

 

Contracts:


The Multiple contract means advertising in more than one issue per year; the Full Year contract means advertising in every issue within a period of 12 months. All contracts are non-cancelable and non-postponable.


Agency Commission:

15% to recognized agencies, (applicable only to yearly contracts) if paid within due date of invoice. Optional design and production charges are not commissionable.


Requirements and Policies:


Advertisements are accepted only under the condition that the advertiser assumes all liability and responsibility for any legal claims from the advertisements printed. The publisher will not be held responsible for any damages or costs if it fails to publish an ad for any reason, or for no reason. MBM publications reserves the right to edit, rewrite or refuse any advertising. Any errors, omissions or problems of any kind will be corrected as soon as possible. No refunds are possible; however, credit may be given toward future advertising orders or submissions. Contracts must be completed within one year from date of first insertion. Cancellations or changes in orders may not be made by the advertiser or its agency after closing date. Agency commissions are cancelled on unpaid invoices after due date. Past due invoices are subject to a 1.5% service charge per month. 25% of amount due will be added to accounts referred for collection and or legal action. A $25. fee will be charged for returned checks.No conditions other than those set forth herein shall be binding on the publisher unless specifically agreed to in writing by the publisher. Publisher will not be bound by conditions printed or appearing on order blanks or copy instructions which conflict with provisions herein. Advertisers are presumed to have read these requirements and policies and agreed to all conditions set forth herein without any further contract or notice.
