Commentary
Thank you for your support this past year; the combination of membership
renewals and the steady growth of new member galleries has enabled us to put
more resources into the magazine; upgrading to the beautiful and collectable
perfect-bind format; participating in more art fairs around the world and
increasing our editorial coverage from short reviews to mostly in-depth
essay articles, with a nice visual layout, and more interviews as well as
on-the-scene reporting.
While the challenging economy has slowed things down a bit, in that some
people take longer to pay invoices and such, our memberships prices and ad rates
remain nevertheless such a bargain that we are still showing growth (albeit
slower growth) even as people cut back to the essentials.
But then again, M is all about distilling things down to the essentials.
